As someone who has dealt with Stage 2b2 cervical adenocarcinoma, I wish I had had pap smears between 65 and 69 because I would have caught this before it went so far!!!  It's criminal to stop pap smears in older women -- we don't stop prostate exams in men!  My HPV was dormant for over 23 years (I was celibate for the last 23) and nothing showed up in pap smears between 45 and 65.  They should NOT BE STOPPED at any age.
