FULL BODY THERMOGRAPHY VVS. PET SCAN

I have been diagnosed with a 2 cm squamous cell carcinoma of the pharyngeal wall - stage 4 with lymph node involvement.
We are trying to find a test other than a PET scan that we can use as a benchmark to mark progress. We are not going chemo/radiation route.
Will a full body thermograph determine definitively whether this or other cancer exists in other parts of her body?
Can a subsequent thermograph indicate the progress or regression of the tumor, either by comparing the extent of the angiogenisis or extent of the inflammation at the tumor site?

Does anyone have any insight on this.  Thanks for any help.
