Hi! I'm a registered dietitian with 8 years of oncology experience. I recently started a science based nutrition blog for cancer suvivors called Survivors' Table. Hoping that this can reach people who may find benefit from it. Please share if you find it helpful. Thank you! https://survivorstable.com

Thanks so much! It's not easy to find nutritional help, at all.

Hi,

I just joined the thread and am so happy to see an actual dietitian here. I have always been a strong believer that a good diet and lifestyle goes a long way, especially in cancer treatment.

With this in mind, I wanted to ask you if you've heard anything about the nutritional benefits in colon cancer patients receiving adjuvant chemo, particularly in the role of tree nut consumption. There's been quite a bit of clinical studies from Yale and Harvard researchers that show a very strong correlation between eating tree nuts and reduced recurrence rates. It's even been presented in ASCO reports. I have postd a link below if you'd like to take a look. I just wanted your opinion on this.

Thanks.
