Hi,
I wonder if anyone could please shed some light on my symptoms and whether or not I should worry.
My symptoms started about 2 years ago. I wasn't worried about them initially, but as they started to pile up I am second guessing myself...and my doctor. Here is a timeline of my symptoms:
October 2015 - enlarged lymph node in my neck. Scanned and found to be normal.
June 2016 - started noticing a sensitivity to the sun. Would break out in a rash every time I was exposed to the sun. Rash localized to face, chest, and shoulders/arms.
August 2016 - started having muscle pain anytime I would workout, mainly in my traps/shoulders and ankles/achilles tendon.
November 2016 through April 2017 - experienced high fatigue and saw my doctor several times, was convinced I had an autoimmune disease. April 2017 was finally diagnosed as severely vitamin D deficient. Started vitamin D regimen (after agressive treatment, down to 5,000 units daily now). This helped my fatigue and sun sensitivity (no further rash when exposed to sun, even today).
December 2017 - swollen lymph node under my arm appeared. I felt it in the shower because when it popped up it was sensitive at first, but not anymore. Almost February 2018 and the swollen nodes in my neck (over 2 years) and under my arm (about 2 months) are both still present.
My doctor has done a full panel blood test and says everything is normal. I still have minor fatigue, but not as bad as prior to the vitamin D deficiency.
Saw my PCP last week and she said if my underarm lymph node is still there in two weeks she will refer me to an oncologist. It's been there almost two months, if not longer.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
