Hello my name is Philip.

I've been having abdominal pain for 6 months now. Fecal occult blood test came out positive twice which prompted me to push for a screening. Ultrasound whole abdomen shows no problems other than fatty liver. CT Scan whole abdomen with contrast shows no problems other than fatty liver. As for blood tests, SGPT elevated which is no suprise, bilirubin level in blood is at normal levels, slightly high albumin level, normal protime. Esophagogastroduedenoscopy shows gastroduodenitis and Colonoscopy shows internal hemorrhoids, no malignancies seen.

Abdominal pain has gotten worst and recently I have experienced bloody mucus in my stool.

I am not able to function properly anymore with my daily activities and the anxiety is almost unbearable. It has already affected my work. If anyone can give me advice i would greatly appreciate it.

Go to IU Health in Indy or a big health care expert care system. Do not make the mistake my family did and think all health care professionals are equa and trust your home town health care experts to be able to interpret the scans.
