I have been trying to get a diagnosis for the mid back pain that I've been experiencing for 4-5 yrs. the last test i had (MRCP) showed a 3mm lesion in the head of my pancreatic duct, bile strictures and dialated gall bladder. I'm afraid it's cancer of the pancreas or bile ducts. My doctor told me to come back in a year (it's been almost 9 mos) for another scan to see if the lesion has grown.
I recently went in to have some post surgery screws removed from a 2002 jaw surgery i had because i'm not sure if they are leaching metal into my body, causing all of my symptoms. well my dr. (dds) ran my labs and refused to due surgery on me because i had a false positive pregnancy test. My question is: has anyone ever been diagnosed with any type of cancer based on a high HCG serum (used in pregnancy testst). I read that a high HCG count is a cancer indicator.
