MGUS - Are there symptoms?

I was recently told that I may have MGUS. I am going to have more tests next week, but I have aches and pains now. Everything I have read says there are no symptoms. Is this true?

Hi, I was just diagnosed with MGUS IgG lambda today. How are you doing? I also read that there are no symptoms but I was seen because I have fatigue, muscle aches and weakness amongst many other symptoms that showed up out of nowhere. I went from running 3-5 miles a day to hardly being able to walk around my house. I’m hoping to see a hematologist very soon.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. There are symptoms and those symptoms may also be related to something else. See the hematologist and make sure all your doctors are proactive about your health. Stay on top of it all and try not to worry.
