Husband on Lenvima

My husband has Stage 4 Liver Cancer, mets to spine and is on Lenvima after failing immunotherapy (7 months). He's been on Lenvima for about three months and just started on blood pressure medication.  His cancer is stable.  I was wondering what other symptoms people are having.  He is fatigued but that can be related to several other problems.  He also has neuropathy but that was from the immunotherapy.

The 10cm tumor in liver was blasted by Y-90 but he has several tumors on his spine.  One on neck, had radiation for that.  One on T-11 that had eaten vetebrae and had surgery for that.  It's been quite a year.

I have stage 4 non-iodine-avid thyroid cancer, and the only approved treatment for it at this point would be Lenvima.

My oncologist preferred sparing me from the side effects since the lung metastases are not causing any breath issues at this point, and another MD pointed me to LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone). Since I completed the ramp-up to the top dosage for LDN, my tumor markers have been steadly decreasing, tumor sizes seem to have stabilized and there are indications of an immune response mounting up (start of calcification in nodules).

I'm now starting a new combo with LDN + alpha-lipoic-acid, which I can talk about since it's too new; but I can say for sure that LDN brought me very good results, with no side effects whatsoever.

Good luck to him!
