My lung cancer has metastisized to my brain and I will be starting whole brain radiation in 2 days, followed by immunotherapy called Tecenpriq. Has anyone been through whole brain radiation who can give me time frames of what to expect

No experience, but there can be long term issues. You should inquire about hippocampal sparing WBR treatment.
You must have many mets, otherwise they should have suggested Gamma Knife (another technique).

Yes, too many lesions for targeted and doctor thinks there may be mre which just are showing up on the scans. I'm getting only half the normal treatments to minimize effecs then will scan and see if gamma knife is required. .
