Well it has been quite a while since i Visited this forum, had trouble finging it, quess the name has changed. I am 11 years post treatment. as many of you, I still have some issues. Mu voice still is quite frogy and eating is alwas a challange. I do get dialations and they do help. I have a great doc in southern CA who may be one of the best! So I am almost 70 and have had a good 11 years. The name tristeve comes from I was/am an ironman triathlete. I did get pretty beat up and lost 40 pounds, never got it back. So I am a tad slower, maybe it is also age. I do recognize a few names, glad your still around. For the newer members, just want you to know you can have a great post treatment life, maybe different, but good to be on this side of the green

Hello Steve,

It is good to see you stop in and visit. I, like you haven't been here for awhile. The site had some troubles some time ago and many have found other sites to visit. I do stop in once and awhile, not every day as I once did. As you mentioned, we find a "New Normal" and glad to see you are still active. I am 73 now, a 16 year survivor and have my side effects as well.

I stay busy around the house, split wood by hand when I have the energy. I don't like to run, so I will not be in any Ironman events to meet you :) I do know a Marine I served with in Vietnam that still enters them, he was in last year's Hawaii competition.

My Best to You and Everyone Here.
