Hi, I'm a 36 year old, living in the UK. I've had a slow growing lump on my forehead for 2 years and it's never really been an issue but a few people noticed it so thought i'd get it checked at my docs. He said he thought it was just a bone growth and nothing to worry about but an x ray would show it up and then i could get it removed. I head back to the docs to be told the x ray is unclear with abnormalities and now i'm being sent to specialist sarcoma unit. I'm so scared now that i have cancer. Apparently sarcoma's in the skull (especially frontal bone) are very very very rare but nobody has given me any other possibilities :( I'm feeling lost, alone and scared and was wondering if anyone else had a frontal bone sarcoma? I just can't believe that this little lump could be cancer :(
Hi Jonah,
Do not worry mate.
In most cases, it is only a lipoma , subcutaneous skin or just oestioma .
Is it mobile, does it move under the skin?
Let me know how your appointment went.
Cheers,
Jaz
