  How is your husband doing today? I was just diagnosed with stage 4 Esophageal cancer that has spread to my liver. I  am 54 years old,  have been pretty healthy up until now. Any insight would be appreciated,  as my wife and I are pretty scared and we don't see the oncologist for another 4 fays. Thank you

  I was just diagnosed 2 days ago. They say it has spread to my liver but are not sure how badly it has spread.  I had a biopsy of both my esophagus and liver but results aren't in yet. Has anyone had it spread to the liver and if so what has the prognosis been.  I have my first appointment with a oncologist next week. He said he will have the results of the liver biopsy and we will talk about treatment plans...
