My friend has had 3 recent endoscopies for chronic Barretts. The first was routine, then a 2nd with ultrasound assist and a diagnosis of esophogeal cancer. I posted a discussion a couple of weeks ago regarding an increase in agitation since my TT and high dose Synthroid. Recently I heard that some physicians will add a dose of T3 to the Synthroid dose...resulting in a return to more normal state. Has anyone heard of this? thanks so much. Louise

I also have found disrupted sleep to be my new norm (14 months post TT), and often wake up several times each night. I did pick up some basic meditation skills when I was diagnosed, and these are put to good use when I am lying there awake during the night. Certainly, set yourself up for success in regards to no caffeine after lunch and no exercise in the evening. Worse case, as with any sleep ...

I am 13 months post TT, with a current TSH level of .21. I have noted some sleeping issues (recurrent awakenings during night), and an increase in agitation on a day to day basis.
